Job summary

Allied Universal in Coralville, IA is seeking a Security Guard - Part Time - Weekends to serve clients across aerospace/defense sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor entry points, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining security procedures.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule and growth opportunities. A high school diploma and background check are required; prior badge experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check in accordance with laws; drug screen as required.
Licensing requirements may be required; driver's license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while following security procedures.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and incidents calmly and document observations.
Report unusual activity and hazards to appropriate personnel.
