Job summary

Allied Universal in Coralville, IA seeks a Security Officer for the Afternoon Part Time shift. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors at an aerospace/defense site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation as per federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, documented actions.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs per site requirements.
