Job summary

SSC, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for weekend shifts in Stamford, CT. The role focuses on patrols, access control, incident reporting, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and hold or qualify for a State Security Officer license. A drug screen and background check are required; reliable transportation is beneficial.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
18 years of age or older.
Security experience preferred.
State Issued License/Registration as Security Officer (where applicable) or eligible for license.
Pass drug screen.
Background check including references, criminal history, employment & education verification, DMV check if applicable.
Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
Observe and report conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
Respond to emergencies and alarms and contact appropriate services.
Monitor for unauthorized persons and maintain access control of premises.
Investigate incidents and prepare reports on accidents and suspicious activities.
Provide high level of customer service to clients, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
