SSC, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in New Haven, CT to protect client sites and ensure safety. The role centers on patrols, monitoring for security risks, and delivering professional service to clients and visitors.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, are 18+, and can pass background checks, a drug screen, and any required state license. This part-time position runs Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with a pay rate of $19.39/hr.

• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols by foot or vehicle.
• Observe conditions creating security concerns or hazards.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms; contact emergency services as needed.
• Monitor for unauthorized persons; maintain access control.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
• Provide high level customer service to clients, employees and visitors.
