Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a Weekend Security Officer for the Downtown Knoxville Building. The officer will work 07:00–19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays and complete a Tennessee Unarmed Security licensing course (2 days during the week).

The role involves heavy walking to inspect doors, multiple floors, and hazards such as leaks, fire or suspicious activity. We provide extensive training leading to a Security Officer Certification, with perks, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Protect the industrial or commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
• This post is a heavy walking post to inspect doors and several floors for hazards such as leaks, fires or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols and report safety hazards to management.

Weekend Security Officer-Downtown Knoxville Building 0700-1900 Saturday and Sunday. Employee will be required to complete a State of Tennessee Unarmed Security licensing course. The course will be 2 days done during the week (usually Tuesday and Wednesday).

This post is a heavy walking post to inspect doors, several floors and ensure there are no hazards such as leaks, fire or suspicious activity.

What You Will Do

Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.

Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
