Job summary

Walden Security is seeking a Security Officer for weekend shifts at a downtown Knoxville landmark. The role requires walking rounds, stairs, elevators, and a controlled indoor environment with no outdoor patrols.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 0700 to 1900, paid at $15.00 per hour and paid weekly. Walden offers extensive training, tuition reimbursement, PTO, and comprehensive health benefits to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Protect industrial or commercial properties against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Conduct consistent rounds on foot for weekend shifts.
• Serve clients ranging from office buildings to financial institutions and hospitals.

Security Officer position open for weekends only. This historical landmark is a downtown Knoxville building, it requires consistent rounds on foot. This is a large air conditioned/heated building that has stairs, elevators, lobby and several floors. No outdoor patrol is required.

Saturday and Sunday 0700-1900 (24 hours at $15.00 per hour) paid weekly

What You Will Do

Our Security Officers protect the Industrial or Commercial property of our clients against fire, vandalism and illegal entry.

Our clients range from Class-A Office Buildings, Luxury Residential Properties, Distilleries, Fortune 500 Companies, Financial Institutions, Telecommunications, Manufacturing/Industrial Factories, Hospitals and many others.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
