Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard in Birmingham, AL to protect clients across commercial properties, healthcare, education and government sites. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with weekend shifts 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, and a requirement to be 21+ for armed roles or 18+ for unarmed.

Responsibilities include providing security procedures, responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screening as required by law

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following safety procedures and site policies
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems as they arise
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding perimeter
