Job summary

Legacy Healthcare in Chicago, IL is seeking a Security Officer to protect residents and property within our skilled nursing facility. You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, de-escalate conflicts, and coordinate visitor check-ins to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Security Officer role.
• Three to five years preferable, but we will invest in the right candidate.

• Coordinate residents signing in and out; ensure visitors are processed properly.

This job is for Saturday and Sunday (11am - 7pm) - With Potential to help out during the weekdays.

As a Security Officer you are instrumental in ensuring the safety of our residents. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by monitoring the facility for any potential safety concerns and emergency situations, investigating suspicious activity, deescalating altercations, coordinating residents signing in and out and ensuring visitors are approved to enter the facility. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent and (2) years of experience in a Security Officer role. Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a Security Officer role is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
