Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Robotics Technician for the Weekend Day Shift (Thursday–Sunday), 6:30am–4:30pm, to keep automation equipment in peak condition.

You will inspect, test, repair and maintain ABB robotics and associated conveyors, perform preventive maintenance, and document service activities. A journeyman license and related technical education are preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems
• Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
• Associate or bachelor’s degree
• 1 year of experience as a maintenance technician
• Active Journeyman license

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain site ABB robotics, GreyOrange conveyors and wrappers
• Follow and execute basic functional testing procedures for equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner with adequate recordkeeping
• Locate sources of problems by observing and monitoring the automation field; diagnose and repair
• Document performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages, etc.
