Job summary

The Villa Rehab is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a part-time weekend role. You will provide clinical oversight, support nursing staff, and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered care.

Collaboration with CNAs, nurses, physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team is essential. This role is ideal for an RN who excels in leadership, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to enhancing residents' lives on a weekend

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, and facility policies.
• Assess residents, monitor changes in condition, and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed and within the RN's scope of practice.
• Supervise and provide clinical direction to CNAs and other nursing team members as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and maintain individualized resident care plans.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation of resident assessments, care, and progress.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in residents' conditions and clinical needs.
• Promote resident dignity, independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety standards, and facility policies and procedures.
• Support nursing staff with clinical guidance and problem-solving.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current nursing knowledge and best practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, accountability, and respect in all interactions.
