Job summary

Accela Rehab at Manalapan is seeking an RN Supervisor to lead weekend nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care across departments. Requires an active New Jersey RN license and prior supervisory experience.

The role involves coordinating patient assessments, EMR documentation, medication administration, and adherence to infection control and HIPAA policies. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support diverse resident needs in a resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during weekend shifts across multiple departments.
• Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, examinations and medical documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Manage medication administration, IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding and sterile procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and coordinate imaging, specimen collection and documentation.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed and infection prevention strategies are implemented.
• Facilitate discharge planning, case management and adherence to NCQA standards.
• Provide leadership in emergencies including airway management and ventilator use.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and hospital policies.
• Support staff development through ICD-9/10/CPT coding training and related terminology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tailor care for diverse patient needs such as dementia and neonatal care.
