Springbrook seeks a Weekend Day Nurse Supervisor in Westbrook, ME to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and efficient, compliant nursing operations. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, staff mentoring, and cross‑department coordination.

You will ensure safe, 24/7 patient care, manage staffing levels, and participate in hiring and staff development within a collaborative, supportive environment at our long‑term care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing in delivering efficient nursing care and improve clinical outcomes.
• Lead clinical operations of nursing units on assigned shift while ensuring policy and regulation compliance.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with other departments to implement care delivery models.
• Maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 care with controlled overtime and agency use.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and promotions/ transfers.
