Job summary

Heritage Inn Barnesville is seeking a Registered Nurse Leader to assist the Director of Nursing in directing daily nursing operations. You will admit, discharge, and coordinate patient care, ensure proper documentation, and maintain communication with physicians and families.

With responsibility for supervising licensed and unlicensed staff, you will support care planning, monitor clinical services, and implement training and infection control programs. A Georgia RN license is required.

Qualifications

• RN license active in the State of Georgia.
• RN degree from an accredited college or university; or graduate of an approved RN program.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day nursing staff functions.
• Coordinate care planning and MDS process; participate in committee meetings as needed.
• Monitor physician services and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and staff; provide staff education as needed.
• Maintain personnel file documentation and respond to complaints or grievances.
