Job summary

Avardis Health is seeking a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead our nursing team in Winona, MS. You will oversee staffing, mentor staff, ensure compliance, and maintain high-quality resident care during weekend shifts.

You will direct resident care per care plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with leadership to drive improvements and ensure residents’ well-being and safety. Weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Mississippi.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience (long-term care preferred).
• At least 1 year in nursing administration.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work weekends with flexibility.
• Completion of Preceptor Training (or willingness to complete upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure adequate coverage and quality resident care.
• Staff development and training to equip staff for exceptional care.
• Direct resident care per individualized care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments at admission and during stay.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans with policy compliance.
• Recruit and retain qualified nursing staff.
• Address concerns from residents and families with professional advocacy.
• Drive continuous improvement within the management team.
