Job summary

Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is urgently seeking an experienced, motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to lead clinical operations during weekend shifts. You will supervise staff, ensure safe, high-quality resident care, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide essential oversight during peak demand periods.

You will mentor RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, address clinical issues, and coordinate with physicians and families to maintain smooth weekend workflows.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania (required).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, clinical judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff across weekend shifts.
• Oversee delivery of safe, resident-centered care per orders and care plans.
• Act as primary clinical leader and contact for staff, residents, families, and weekends.
• Address clinical issues, incidents, changes in resident condition, and emergencies promptly.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers, and care coordination as required.
• Monitor documentation accuracy and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and weekend workflow.
• Coordinate staffing and assignments to maintain efficient operations.
• Contribute to quality assurance, infection control, and performance improvement initiatives.
