Job summary

Rosewood Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an experienced Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead nursing services during weekend shifts. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure safe, high-quality resident care and smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license, have 2+ years in long-term care and at least 1 year in supervision, plus CPR certification.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with active licensure.
Active Florida RN license in good standing.
Minimum 2 years RN experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.
Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience in a care facility.
Current CPR certification and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing services and resident care during the weekend shift.
Supervise and support nursing and nursing assistant staff.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
Assign nursing and aide duties based on resident needs and staffing.
Monitor nursing documentation and resident care plans.
Ensure availability of medications, supplies, and equipment.
Assist with resident assessments and care planning.
Address staff, resident, and family concerns appropriately.
Promote staff education, teamwork, and professional development.
Communicate clinical and staffing updates to the Director of Nursing.
