Genesis HealthCare in Harrisville, WV is seeking a registered nurse (RN) supervisor to support the Director of Nursing in delivering safe, patient-centered care across nursing units on the assigned shift.

The role focuses on leading clinical operations, mentoring staff, coordinating care delivery, and ensuring appropriate staffing while maintaining compliance with policies and reducing overtime and agency usage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state where employed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with policies, standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the care delivery model, mentoring staff, and coordinating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 care and minimize overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, orientation, and recommend promotions, transfers, and terminations.
