Job summary

Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to manage both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care units. The role reports to the Director of Nursing and centers on leading nursing staff, coordinating care plans, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

The incumbent will supervise per shift, participate in staff orientation, and uphold nursing standards across the unit, with emphasis on geriatric and rehabilitative care. Weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license in the practicing state.
• Strong physical assessment skills and nursing principles knowledge.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff on weekends; participate in orientation and training.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Oversee daily unit operations per shift and assume leadership as needed.
