Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NC RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred.
• Nursing supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, assessments, and documentation.
• Ensure care plans and physician orders are followed.
• Provide guidance and coaching to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Monitor resident conditions and coordinate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and leadership team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and status changes.
• Promote teamwork and compliance with policies and regulations.
