Qualifications

Must hold a current, active RN license or privilege to practice that is not encumbered and meets nursing board requirements.
Experience in teaching nursing or clinical settings is preferred.
Ability to teach both clinical and non-clinical nursing content is valued.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical instruction and demonstration of nursing skills to students.
Attends clinical site orientations and maintains relationships with clinical agencies.
Implements teaching strategies to promote critical thinking, decision making, and clinical competency.
Completes clinical documentation accurately and submits to the coordinator.
Plans and provides clinical experiences aligned with program objectives.
Be prompt for work, classes, and maintain office hours.
