Job summary

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center is a Lakeland-based facility seeking an RN/LPN Supervisor for weekend 12-hour shifts. This role partners with the DON and ADON to drive quality resident care and regulatory compliance on Saturdays and Sundays.

Minimum 2 years nursing experience with supervisory experience preferred; Florida RN or LPN license required. Compensation ranges $36–$42/hour with part-time weekend schedule and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN or LPN license (RN preferred).
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience, preferably in long-term or skilled nursing.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DON and ADON to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff while promoting professionalism and accountability.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and unit operations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
• Address resident, family, and staff concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture.
• Assist with surveys, inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support clinical excellence and maintain high standards of resident-centered care.
