Job summary
Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lakeland, FL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated nursing team. You will support the DON and ADON in overseeing daily clinical operations and ensure exceptional resident care and comfort.
The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, prior long-term care experience, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida is required.
- Previous nursing home or long-term care experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist the DON and ADON in overseeing daily operations of the Nursing Department.
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and professionalism.
- Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care and staff performance.
- Participate in state surveys, inspections, and regulatory activities.
- Address and investigate nursing personnel concerns and communicate findings to leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to care standards and protocols.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident wellbeing and clinical excellence.
