Job summary

Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, FL, seeks a Weekend RN/LPN Supervisor to oversee weekend nursing operations and support safe, high-quality resident care. You will work closely with the DON and ADON to provide leadership, support staff, and address resident care needs within your licensed scope.

The role requires current Florida RN or LPN license, prior supervisory experience in healthcare, and a weekend-friendly schedule.

Qualifications

Active Florida RN or LPN license in good standing.
Minimum two years supervisory experience in healthcare.
Experience in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Weekend work availability required for part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support weekend nursing staff.
Monitor staffing coverage and coordinate appropriate assignments.
Conduct rounds to assess resident care and identify concerns.
Ensure medications, treatments, and physician orders are carried out correctly.
Provide direct nursing care within licensed scope.
Monitor changes in residents' conditions and communicate with providers.
Document resident care, events, and notifications.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans.
Address staff concerns and elevate issues to DON as needed.
Support nursing policies, procedures, survey readiness, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate nursing care with residents' activities and other services.
