Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or RN diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• 1+ years teaching experience preferred.
• 1+ years nursing experience required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire.
• Current Nebraska RN license or multi-state compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a positive learning environment in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Establishes rapport with students and staff; maintains professional relationships.
• Follow curriculum and resources; adhere to program guidelines.
• Teach evening and weekend sessions; daytime schedules may be available.
• Maintain and ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Record attendance, tests, and evaluations and forward to appropriate contacts.
• Be willing to train in other education roles as needed (Nursing Assistant Instructor, etc.).
• Answer phones, triage questions, participate in team meetings.
• Assist with skills sign-offs and evaluations to ensure competency.
