Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct the work of CNAs.
• Provide individualized nursing care per each resident's plan of care.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Explain procedures and treatments to gain patient cooperation.
• Observe vital signs and note progress.
• Maintain patient medical records of nursing observations and actions.
• Record nursing needs on care plans for continuity.
• Monitor emotional stability and prepare residents for ongoing care.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.
