Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted LPN license in practicing state.
• CPR certification.
• Direct daily activities of geriatric nursing assistants per regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents as required.
• Assess changes in residents’ status and notify physicians and families accordingly.
• Transcribe physician orders to the medical record and carry out orders.
• Prepare and administer medications per physician orders and observe for adverse effects.
• Provide wound care per physician orders and document changes.
