Job summary
The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing operations during weekend coverage.
You will supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, ensure delivery of high‑quality resident care, conduct assessments, and maintain regulatory compliance in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Current and active Florida RN license.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of Florida nursing home regulations and standards of practice.
- Ability to work independently and lead a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care according to orders and policies.
- Conduct resident assessments and assist with care planning.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to health status changes.
- Provide clinical guidance and coaching to nursing personnel.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents and unusual occurrences.
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and the team.
- Promote compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Respond to clinical emergencies and staffing concerns.
- Serve as the nursing leadership representative during weekend operations.
