Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a compassionate RN to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with physicians, and supervise LPNs and CNAs on your shift.

Responsibilities include care planning, medication administration, resident monitoring, regulatory compliance, and supporting residents and families with a caring, professional approach. Florida licensure is required for this role.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• MS/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
• Nursing Experience with clinical competence and strong leadership skills.
• Understanding of the aging process.
• Ability to be self-directive in delegated areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assists in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice.
• Performs required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies affecting nursing practice.
• Follow facility procedures for admitting residents transferring to hospitals/clinics and documentation.
• Supervise LPNs/CNAs and ensure reporting and assignments are managed.
• Develops and revises care plans based on resident needs and care outcomes.
• Monitors administration and recording of medications and reports incidents as required.
• Ensures compliance with Nurse Practice Act and regulatory guidelines.
