Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled RN to join our expanding team. The role requires leadership in nursing practice, coordination of MDS schedules, medication administration, and high compliance with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates hold Florida RN licensure, have completed an accredited nursing program, and demonstrate strong clinical competence and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• RN must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
• MS/BS or equivalent experience preferred.
• Nursing experience with clinical competence and leadership skills.
• Understanding of aging process.

Responsibilities

• Assists in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice.
• Coordinates/Prepares MDS schedules for quarterly, annual and significant change assessments.
• Monitors the administration and accurate recording of medications.
• Develops care plans and updates them as needed.
• Directs nursing shifts and ensures staff receive reports and assignments.
• Ensures compliance with Nurse Practice Act and regulatory regulations.
• Maintains adequate stock levels of medications and supplies.
• Reports incidents and communicates with physicians as required.

Education

MS/BS or equivalent experience

Florida RN licensure
