Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement.
• One (1) year experience.
• Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
• RN License; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license in NC/ participating state via NLC.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient's physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.
• Competently perform IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect patient health and safety.
• Provide patient/family education based on learning readiness and needs.
