Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join as independent contractors to support military service members in Idaho. The role primarily operates on weekends with occasional weekday coverage under RHRP, on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing medical information, and interviewing personnel to identify concerns. You will document findings in the service member’s medical record and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited registered nursing program.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical RN experience.
• Unrestricted nursing license in the United States.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and work effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify immediate concerns including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the medical record using the proprietary system.
