Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide skilled home health care on weekends in Lubbock, TX. This PRN role offers independence, meaningful patient relationships, and scheduling flexibility based on patient needs.

Responsibilities include assessments, wound care, IV infusions, medication administration, and care plan development, with strong coordination with physicians. Valid RN license and at least 1 year experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Experience in ER, Med-Surg, acute care, or similar settings.
• Active RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Completing patient assessments
• Providing wound care
• Administering medications
• Providing IV infusions
• Developing and implementing care plans
• Monitoring patient progress and changes in condition
• Communicating with physicians and other care team members
• Traveling between patient visits
