Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a part-time RN for the Observation Unit in Columbia, SC. The role covers the AM shift (7a–7p) with a weekend-focused LexPlan schedule. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with eligibility for full-time benefits and applicable clinical differentials.

Responsibilities include providing nursing care, patient advocacy, education, and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team. Current SC RN licensure and ADN/ Diploma/ BSN are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
• Minimum education: ADN, Diploma or BSN in Nursing.
• New graduates may be considered with LMC residency program where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Deliver emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and advocate for optimal outcomes.
• Operate in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies.
