Job summary
Corewell Health is seeking a registered nurse for a 7C Adaptable Progressive unit at Royal Oak Hospital. This part-time role covers weekend day shifts (7:00am–7:30pm) with 24 hours weekly, providing nursing care to surgical patients using a patient/family centered approach.
The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's within 5 years for GN or RN with <1 year experience) and a Michigan RN license within 60 days, along with BLS. Join a Magnet-designated health system committed to safety and inclusion.
Qualifications
- RN licensure required within 60 days of hire.
- BLS certification required upon hire from AHA, Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor’s in Nursing required within 5 years for GN or RN with <1 year experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care following the nursing process.
- Incorporate patient/family centered care; assess, plan, implement, evaluate, discharge.
- Document education and learning in the health record; collaborate with Nurse Leader and care team.
