Job summary

IU Health Bloomington is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support patient registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling at the Bloomington Emergency Department. This onsite role covers weekends with Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts from 7a to 7p, totaling 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include scheduling, prior-authorization, cashiering, release of information, and delivering customer service while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle preferred.
