Job summary

Easterseals Tennessee seeks a Rest Area Attendant to perform contract work within TDOT timeframes and ensure rest areas meet required standards. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, maintaining outdoor areas, stocking supplies, and reporting repairs to the supervisor.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, can work with minimal supervision, and maintains physical and mental alertness. 40-hour workweeks with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain rest areas, restrooms, foyers, and grounds daily.
• Perform required quality control checks and document results.
• Report repairs or safety issues to the Rest Area Supervisor.
• Stock brochures and assist visitors and staff as needed.
• Curb vandalism and maintain cleanliness during shifts.
