Glengariff Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Great Neck Estates, NY, is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The role emphasizes geriatric care, independent assessment, and administration of respiratory therapies.

You will perform bedside treatments, document daily to monthly activities, participate in IDT meetings, and support nursing staff with in-services. Weekend coverage is required; salary range is $45–$55 per hour.

Qualificações

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques for various illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and quarterly nursing in-services.
• Attend IDT meetings and document daily, weekly, monthly.
• Manage tracking, auditing and caseload.
• Experience with tracheotomy; long-term care setting.
