Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents with a range of respiratory conditions, perform bedside procedures, and document care per facility policy.

The ideal candidate holds a COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, is licensed as an RRT or CRT in the state, and maintains BLS certification. Experience with geriatric populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory therapies for residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain records, operate and check equipment.
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in care planning.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activity according to policy.
• Follow facility procedures and protocols; support policy adherence.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings.
