Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing facility team. You will evaluate and treat residents independently, perform respiratory therapies, and manage bedside procedures to support geriatric patients.

Candidates must hold COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed (RRT or CRT) in the practicing state, with BLS certification and prior long-term care or tracheostomy experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program and licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the practicing state with BLS certification.
• Experience in long-term care setting and tracheostomy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly and monthly.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in departmental policies.
