Job summary

Apploi is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team in Berry Hill, TN. The ideal candidate will hold an RRT or CRT license in Tennessee and BLS certification, with a passion for geriatric care. You will assess, initiate therapies, document progress, and work with nursing staff to support residents’ respiratory needs.

You will perform bedside treatments, manage equipment and participate in IDT meetings. Prior tracheotomy and long-term care experience are a plus.

Qualifications

Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; licensed as RRT or CRT.
Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Completes assessments and implements respiratory therapies for rehab patients.
Initiates therapies, maintains records, and operates/assembles equipment.
Performs bedside treatments and documents progress daily, weekly, monthly.
Attends IDT meetings and follows facility policies.
Manages caseload, tracks audits, and ensures proper documentation.
Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting is preferred.
Provides oxygen weaning and airway clearance therapies.
Delivers chest physiotherapy, CPAP/BIPAP, incentive spirometry and related care.
