Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing team, providing compassionate geriatric care and independent evaluation and treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory therapies.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate equipment.
• Provide bedside treatments and conduct in-services for nursing staff.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseload.
