Job summary

The Grove at Valhalla Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric care team. The role requires independent assessment and treatment of residents, with weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) 4–8 hours per shift and hourly pay of $45–$55.

Licensure as an RRT or CRT in the state is required, along with COARC-accredited education and BLS certification. Experience in long-term care, tracheostomy familiarity, and the ability to document

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing (RRT or CRT).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to maintain or rehab residents.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly documentation of patient care.
• Attend IDT meetings and manage caseload; experience with tracheostomy.
