Responsibilities

• Answer telephone courteously and document calls in log.
• Monitor residents and perform head counts hourly with log updates.
• Notify supervisor of elopement or discharge situations.
• Record events and incidents per standards in log.
• Enforce house policies professionally.
• Conduct fire and evacuation drills when requested.
• Observe and record self-administration of medication as directed.
• Ensure safety and welfare of clients at all times.
• Treat individuals with respect and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to Department of Mental Health and Medicaid standards.
• Participate in required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate leadership, organization and interpersonal skills.
• Acknowledge exposure to potentially infectious waste and challenging situations.
