Back in Motion is seeking a Rehab Tech to join our Therapy team in Sanford, ME. The role supports therapists by preparing treatment areas, transporting patients, and assisting with therapies as directed.

Under supervision of clinic staff, you will maintain clean facilities, manage supplies, and perform basic front office duties as needed. High school diploma and healthcare exposure preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care per physician's orders and plan of care developed by evaluating therapist.
• Transports patients to and from Rehabilitation Services departments.
• Prepares patient for treatment and assists professional staff with patient treatments.
• Communicates with patients, families, and health care team to promote benefits from care.
• Obtains equipment, materials and supplies from storage areas and prepares them for use.
• Maintains therapy department(s) in a clean and orderly condition.
• Performs routine clerical support tasks and front office duties.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assesses safety risks and implements precautions.
