Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Registered Sonographer for weekend shifts (Fri–Sun, 8am–8pm). This role offers a $30,000 new hire sign-on bonus and up to $7,000 relocation assistance. The sonographer performs diverse imaging procedures and delivers high-quality patient care in a leading health system.

Requirements include ARRT/ARDMS in OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Neurosonography and CPR certification. Training and supervision are provided to promote professional growth within Imaging Services.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; graduate of an approved School of Ultrasound.
• ARRT registry/ARDMS in OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography; CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and technical imaging skills; able to adapt to various assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures and provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures according to guidelines.
• Operate radiographic, CR, DR equipment and PACS systems.
• Train students and staff as assigned; ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
