Job summary

Hickory Grove Post Acute is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our weekend nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. You will oversee patient care, coordinate with physicians and families, and ensure compliance with standards.

This role blends hands-on clinical duties with leadership responsibilities, requiring strong communication, excellent organization, and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes during Friday–Sunday shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license is required.

Responsibilities

Pay: $42-45/hr

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Flexible)

Job Summary:

As a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Supervisor at Hickory Grove Post Acute, you will play a vital role in leading our dedicated team of nurses (LPNs) and healthcare professionals (CNAs) on weekends. As a dynamic and experienced nurse leader, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, promoting a positive work environment, and fostering open communication among staff members. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and leadership, we encourage you to join our team. Hickory Grove is a 124-bed facility that has recently undergone some remodeling. We are committed to staffing our building well so that our healthcare workers can deliver the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and other healthcare professionals on weekends
• Provide direct patient care as needed, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Maintain accurate and thorough records, including patient charts and medication administration records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs, resolve conflicts, and improve outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and professional standards

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff members
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on patient-centered care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and computer systems
