Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to perform home health visits in the Charlotte area. The role can be full-time, part-time, or per diem, serving adult and geriatric clients in Mecklenburg and Union counties.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan per patient needs.
• Perform home visits in designated geographic territories (Mecklenburg/Union counties).
• Administer medications, wound care, treatments and procedures.
• Monitor client conditions and report changes to Clinical/Client Services Manager.
• Document doctors' orders and care observations; follow up as needed.
• Coordinate case management and care delivery.
• Document observations on the state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate opening for a Weekend Registered Nurse, (RN) to perform home health visits full time, part time, or per diem for our Charlotte Visits office.

This position will be providing services to adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis throughout Mecklenburg and Union counties.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient's needs
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor clients' conditions; reporting changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform client assessments as necessary
• Case management and coordination
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
