Job summary

BAYADA Home Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a per diem opportunity in the Charlotte Senior Living Office. You will serve adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis throughout Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Union counties.

Responsibilities include following care plans, administering medications, wound care, and case management, with documentation on a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet. Travel to cases is required.

Qualifications

• A NC RN license is required.
• Minimum of one year of recent clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Home care experience preferred but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program as indicated by transcript/diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform nursing duties including administration of medications, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and document doctors' orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary; case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN):

• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
