Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for weekend coverage in our unit, delivering patient-centered care through the nursing process and coordinating with the care team.

The role requires at least two years of RN experience, orientation completion, and strong communication with patients and families. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and commitment to ongoing learning are expected as part of a technology-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Weekend RN positions require a minimum of two years’ experience.
• Completion of orientation per the Critical Care Competency Policy.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with individuals and groups.
• Competency in Microsoft Windows and related systems.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning opportunities at MyMichigan Health.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support.
• Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to needs.
• Evaluates progress by comparing data with the care plan or clinical path.
• Collaborates with health care team in planning and implementing total patient care.
• All other duties as assigned.
