Job summary

The role requires a BSN, Illinois RN license, BLS, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care while adhering to regulatory standards and Northwestern Medicine's values.
Qualifications
- BSN required and Illinois RN license active.
- BLS required; ACLS/PALS/ENPC/TNCC post-hire as specified.
- Experience in emergency or pediatric ER preferred.
- Willingness to work Saturdays and adhere to hospital standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess and record patient status upon admission.
- Organize health data for accessibility and accuracy.
- Identify problems needing immediate attention.
- Validate diagnoses with patient/family and health team.
- Document diagnoses to guide care plans and outcomes.
- Initiate and update plans of care with patient involvement.
- Begin discharge planning at admission and coordinate with the team.
- Provide patient and family education based on evidence-based practice.
- Communicate and collaborate with care teams and families.
- Present patient information at multidisciplinary meetings for feedback.
- Refer to specialists as needed for continuity of care.
